ABOUT ME AND MY STYLE OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I’m a wedding photographer based in the Welsh countryside, living with my wife Claire and our three chihuahuas — who are small, chaotic, and fully convinced they run the house.
I’ve been doing photography for around four years now, and somewhere along the way it became so much more than just a creative outlet. I realised what I actually love isn’t just taking photos — it’s noticing people. The way you look at each other, the energy of the day, and the little moments that would otherwise be missed.
I’m not really about perfect poses or overly polished images. I’m much more interested in things feeling real. The laughs that come out of nowhere, the slightly messy bits, the moments you didn’t plan — that’s the kind of stuff that ends up meaning the most.
Outside of weddings, I love travelling and getting out of my usual routine. We’ve got a campervan, so whenever we can, we’re off exploring somewhere new — which means if I’m photographing your wedding away from home, there’s a very good chance I’m making a little trip of it and properly soaking up your location for the weekend too.
Weddings, for me, aren’t just about the big moments. They’re about everything in between. The people, the atmosphere, the feeling of the day as it actually unfolds. That’s what I focus on capturing, so when you look back, it doesn’t just look good — it feels like it did in that moment.
On the day, I’ll blend in where I can and step in where I’m needed — whether that’s helping things run smoothly, keeping things relaxed, or just making sure you feel comfortable being yourselves.
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to hear more about your plans.
